Coming from church this morning I crossed a green traffic light only to see a guy racing across the red light in a white pickup. I stopped and he crossed. He realized as he was as he was on the lights that they were red and slowed down, but the speed he was coming at he could not stop safely, so he crossed the intersection on the red light.
Now what was this guy thinking. Was he on a call (even if he wasn't holding a cell phone in his hand he could be distracted by the call)? Was he listening to a song? Was he remembering a happy time? Was he in deep thought over an issue that troubled him? Was he is deep prayer?
Whatever his circumstance, he might have killed somebody today. Hopefully, the incident shook him sufficiently that he would pay better attention on the road.
