Today I am sad!
Having read the article in the Sunday Express of today's date (linked). I have been left saddened. The Article Headline says that "Parishioners to be Consulted on renovation of Cathedral" I think it should have said "Trinidadian Catholics to meet to decide fate of Historic Building in Port of Spain". I am saddened because I believe that I do not have a say in what happens to the Cathedral. Would there be a group to stand up for the Cathedral in the Synod? I Hope So.

I was a bit surprise at this myself when one of my colleagues told me this. A lot of people attend the Cathedral who do not belong to the parish. The cathedral I think has a special place in the hearts of all catholics in the Archdiocese of Port of Spain. Hope more people have a say in this decision.
